Willow Oaks is a covenant community. The Willow Oaks Recreational Association, Inc. (WORA) is a non-profit organization incorporated to establish and provide for the Willow Oaks Architectural Control Committee (ACC) as set forth in the protective covenants of the Willow Oaks subdivision, to maintain all islands and common grounds situated within the Willow Oaks subdivision, and to operate and maintain the swimming pool and its associated buildings and property.

The WHORA Board of Directors is elected to staggered terms at the annual meeting held in October of each year. The Board also meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Willow Oaks Library, and residents are welcome to attend.  The Board determines the annual assessment, currently $50, which provides for non-recreational fees such as taxes, common grounds maintenance, insurance and administrative fees. The Board also determines the assessment for pool privileges; current pool information is enclosed.

The privilege of voting at the annual meeting and special meetings, and use of the facilities of the WORA are available to all residents who have paid the annual assessment. Pool membership is available for residents who pay a fee in addition to the annual assessment.

Administration of the Willow Oaks Protective Covenants is provided by WORA through the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). If you plan to do any work which requires approval of the ACC, you may obtain information by contacting the committee chairman.
